Tripoli to grant Morocco remainder of loan
Libya-Morocco, Economics, 2/8/2001

Libya decided to speed up the procedure to extend Morocco $ 55 million, remainder of a $100 million loan to Morocco.

The announcement was made in Casablanca Wednesday by head of the Libyan general administration of industrial production, Hassan Hamed Abdellah, who is leading a Libyan visiting delegation.

The Libyan official told reporters in Casablanca the loan, to be used to import crude products and consumption goods and to implement bilateral agreements, is part of the measures aimed at bolstering economic integration between the two states.

He underlined the two states' leaders resolve to open new prospects to bilateral relations in all realms and said the Libyan delegation's current visit to Morocco is meant to set up implements to better tap existing potentialities.
