Chad President arrives in Tripoli, hold talks with al-Qaddafi

Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi and president of Chad Idris Dibi on Wednesday in Tripoli discussed bilateral relations and preparations to convene a summit including the coalition of the states of the coasts and the desert in al-Khartoum in February and the second Sert summit in March.
During the meeting, Chad's President expressed total solidarity with the Libyan people towards the question of Lockerbie. He called for immediate release of the Libyan citizen Abdul Baset al-Miqrahi who is being suspected in the Lockerbie issue.
The Chad President said that his visit falls in the course of continued consultation between the leadership of the two countries, strengthen bilateral issues and African matters.
Al-Qaddafi extended an invitation to the President of "Sea-Shell) France Rene and the President of the Ivory Coast to attend the second Sert summit to be held this year in March.
President of the republic of Chad Idris Dibi, who is also the current President of the council of the presidium of the coast and desert states coalition arrived in Libya on Wednesday. He is accompanied by a delegation including the minister of defense and the minister of the Interior.
In an arrival statement to pressmen, the Chad's President said that his visit falls in the course of continued consultations between the two countries ' leadership and for strengthening bilateral relations and African issues.
