ME peace, Lockerbie, Iraqi crisis big on Mubarak, Ben Ali agenda

"President Hosni Mubarak and his Tunisian counterpart Zine AL Abidine Ben Ali's discussed the situation in the Middle East peace process," said Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa.
In statements late Monday following the end of Mubarak-Bin Ali talks, Moussa said the two leaders also reviewed future possibilities especially on the Palestinian-Israeli peace track.
"Talks touched on the Lockerbie issue, the Iraqi problem, the situation in the Arab world and the forthcoming Arab summit, to be hosted by Jordan in march, "added Moussa.
"President Bin Ali briefed President Mubarak on efforts to reactivate the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU), "said Moussa.
Bin Ali welcomed Egypt continued desire to participate in the activities of the AMU, he added.
Mubarak and Bin Ali held, at 7:30 PM a tete-a--tete meeting before being joined by members of the two sides delegation.
Talks were followed by a dinner banquet hosted by Bin Ali in honor of President Mubarak and his accompanying delegation.
