Islamic trade promotion center, Moroccan exporters sign memorandum of understanding
Morocco, Economics, 2/3/2001

The Casablanca-based Islamic center for trade promotion and the Moroccan exporters' association have signed a memorandum of understanding meant to enhance their cooperation.

Under the document, the two sides pledge to promote trade relations and investments between Morocco and Islamic states.

The two sides will exchange economic and commercial information as well as publications, explore new outlets and products and sponsor promotion campaigns and training sessions.

The center, an offshoot of the Organization of Islamic Conference, seeks to promote trade exchanges between member states and ease Islamic countries' products access to foreign markets. It equally assists member countries in their international trade negotiations.
