Sudanese tries to smuggle 150 snakes from egypt

The Cairo airport authority said Wednesday it found 150 snakes with a Sudanese passenger who was trying to smuggle the reptiles from Egypt to Nairobi.
The passenger concealed the snakes inside boxes, but the airport bomb detection systems detected the snakes for their unstable moves inside the cartons. It said that the snakes were confiscated while the passenger proceeded with his flight to Nairobi.
Egyptian authorities forbid the export of snakes, falcons and rare animals without an official permit and a health certificate. The airport authority last week arrested a German passenger when she was trying to bring in live snakes from Paris.
