Security cooperation agreement between Iran, Saudi Arabia to be signed soon

The Saudi minister of the Interior prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz announced that he will sign with his Iranian counterpart a security cooperation agreement in the current month in Tehran.

In press statements the Saudi minister expected that his visit to Tehran will be before al-Haj season this year in order to sign the security agreement. He said: " we expect our Iranian brothers to set a date and according to the agreement the signing ceremony will be in the second half of February."

In its session held on Monday the Saudi cabinet approved the said draft agreement and authorized the minister of the interior or a representative for him to sign this agreement.
