Syrian aids for the Indian earthquake victims

At the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, A Syrian plane loaded with humanitarian and medical aids left on Thursday for India with the aim to alleviate the consequences of the tragic destruction left by the Earthquake, recently, in India.
On the board of the plane was an official Syrian delegation led by the minister of State for the Syrian red Crescent affairs Makhoul Abu Hamdah and representatives for the ministries of health and supply.
In a pre-departure statement at Damascus International airport, minister Abu Hamdah stressed that the Syrian people have all feelings of fraternity and amity towards the people of India, noting the deeply rooted relations that go back to thousands of years.
However, the medical and material aids given by the Syrian people to the Indian people which weigh 30 tons of foodstuffs include also tents and garments.
