Bin Ali: al-Maghreb federation is a strategic option

The Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali has asserted Tunisia's commitment to building the Maghreb federation on the ground of a solid conviction in its being a strategic option.
He expressed hope that the current year will witness a qualitative change in the process of this federation in revitalizing its establishments and completing their building.
Worthy mentioning the Arab Maghreb federation was established in 1989. It includes Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania. However, the establishments of this federation were frozen six years after its establishments.
