Algeria, UAE for boosting bilateral relations

President of the Unite Arab Emirates UAE Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan and the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika have stressed their solidarity with the Palestinian Intifada in the occupied Arab territories.
News reports UAE officials as saying that this was expressed during the talks held between the two Presidents in Abu Dhabi on Monday late evening which also dealt with the peace process in the region.
He same UAE officials added that the two presidents stressed the need of increasing Arab solidarity.
Butaflika arrived on Monday in Abu Dhabi in a visit to the UAE which lasted for two days.
This is, however, the second visit carried out by the Algerian President for the UAE since he assumed power in April 1999.
