Acts of killing continue in Algeria

An armed group on Saturday evening killed 24 citizens belong to two families in Algeria and kidnapped one girl in al-Qutabeyah area, 4 kilometers to the southern west of Awlad Fares in al-Shalf province, 200 kilometers to the west of the capital Algiers, said the Algerian dailies issued on Monday.

The dailies added that the armed group which was composed of 6 to 12 persons attacked the two families of al-Jeilali Ayad and Meiloudi who live beside orchards, by knives and sticks. Most members of the two families are children and young men aging between 9 and 25th year old and old men aging between 60 to 70 year old.

Only one young man from the two families could escape from one of the windows.
