Important archeological find in Northern Coast

"A Joint Egyptian-Hungarian team of archeologists, excavating in the coastal town of Abu Seir, found the head of a bust made of black granite for ISIS, godess of love and beauty worshipped by the Greeks," said Dr. Gaballah Ali Gaballah, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
"The Head of the bust was found during operations of cleaning and lifting soil from the temple in Abu Seir," Dr. Gaballah added.
It is the first discovery in this temple that dates back the Ptolemaic era and there is possibility to find other status in the rite.
A report was prepared for submission to Minister of Culture Farouq Hosni for allocating funds necessary for cleaning and renovating the temple.
