A meeting between the ruler of Qatar and Peres

The Qatari space channel said on Friday that the ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani met on Friday with the Israeli regional co-operation minister Shimon Peres on the sideline of the Davos summit conference on economic co-operation.
Peres described the meeting as was friendly. Al-Jazira said that this meeting is considered the highest level between the two sides since closing the Israeli trade representation office in Doha in 2000.
