Kuwait and the depleted uranium

The radiation-protection observer at the Kuwaiti ministry of health Samir al-Asfour said that 6 tanks found by the end of 1991 at the playground of the exhibitions include radiation items because they were exposed to shelling containing uranium.

In a seminar held at the Kuwaiti medical society under the title " depleted uranium between reality and illusion," al-Asfour stressed these tanks were dealt with.

He denied the existence of any medical report or studies carried out on people who were at the area of the war. He added that all studies are confined in the American soldiers who dealt with the attacked shells and tanks.
