New list in the names of Jordanians normalizing with Israel

The Jordanian anti- normalization committee announced the names of the second shift of the list of those who normalize relations with Israel. The list includes the names of 68 companies, establishments and figures who are maintaining such relations with Israel.

Among those, according to the Jordanian daily al-Arab al-Youm, which did not publish the names, are 20 companies working in the sectors of garments, agriculture, agricultural marketing, tourism, engineering industries, two private schools and a daily news paper.

The paper also includes the names of 12 (qualified) companies in al-Hassan industrial city in Irbid. The list explained that " qualification" means the need of having an Israeli partner or to import 8% of the industrial items from Israel so as the " produced item are qualified to be exported to the US without customs."

The list also includes some 36 political, parliamentary and economic figures including one former prime minister, two member of al-Ayan ( upper house) members, four members of parliament, five journalists, one anchor, one paper publisher, artists and businessmen.

The committee issued the name of the normalizer with the act he made, noting that its had accepted explanations and apologies made by three figures and did not accept explanations and apologies made by other 8 persons who were asked to prove stop normalization of relations with israel.

The chairman of the Jordanian Engineers Union Azzam al-Hneidi said that the anti- normalization trade committee wins the support of the trade union council which, for its part, seeks to develop and improve its work plan so as to halt all forms of normalization with israel.

The chairman of the anti- normalization trade union committee Ali Abu al-Sukkar said that the committee will continue its work in defending Jordan against the Israeli dangers.

He added that the committee will continue publishing names of those who normalize relations with israel.
