Jordanian and Iranian officials on Monday in Amman discussed means of maintaining coordination concerning the return of the Palestinian refugees to their homes and the question of Jerusalem in the context of the two countries' backing to the Palestinian people as well as discussing the question of the entry visas for the two countries' citizens.

Jordanian sources said that the Jordanian minister of state for parliamentary affairs Youssef al-Dalabeij met on Monday with the Iranian deputy foreign minister for parliamentary affairs Muhammad Ali Hadi who accompanies the Iranian speaker of the Islamic Shoura council Muhammad Karoubi, currently visiting Jordan. The sources added the two sides discussed areas of parliamentary cooperation and religious tourism between the two countries.

Al-Dalabeij said that the two sides stressed the need of intensifying efforts and bilateral coordination concerning the Arab- Israeli conflict and the need of taking common stances concerning the question of Jerusalem and the right to return.

Hadi also met with the secretary general of the Jordanian foreign ministry Shaher Bak and discussions dealt with bilateral relations in granting visas to citizens of the two countries.
