US president voices determination to work jointly with King Mohammed

New US president George Walker Bush voiced determination to work jointly with king Mohammed VI and expressed conviction that the two countries would take up challenges in a spirit of mutual respect.
This came in answer to the message of congratulations President Bush received from the sovereign on the occasion of his inauguration as the 43 rd president of the United States.
"We shall undoubtedly face up a number of challenges over the years to come. I am confident we shall succeed in taking up these challenges in a spirit of mutual respect, cooperation and open dialogue," President bush said, adding the two sides can seize the future huge opportunities to make peace, freedom and prosperity of the two people progress.
In his message to president Bush, King Mohammed VI had reaffirmed determination to work jointly with the US president "to further strengthen the ties of friendship, mutual consideration and fruitful cooperation" which have existed over the last two centuries between the United States and Morocco.
The sovereign also vowed to spare no effort to work with the new president "for the establishment of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East region and for the achievement of sustainable development, peace and progress in Africa, in view of our common concern about these two regions."
