Acts of killing continue in Algeria

A terrorist group on Thursday killed 23 Algerian citizens while grazing their cattle in al-Zahra area in al-Shalf province, 200 Km to the west of the capital Algiers.
The Algerian dailies al-Bilad and al-Sahafah which published the news on Saturday said that the terrorists knifed the victims who were five children aged between 11 and 13 and two elderly while the others were young men.
The two papers noted that the security condition in certain areas in the country witnesses grave escalation especially in the provinces of al-Medya, al-Shalaf, Ein al-Dakhli, to the west of the country.
Meantime, the Algerian daily Le Matin said on Saturday that armed men killed two soldiers and wounded a third after they had stopped their car at a fake barrier on a road in the mountainous areas to the east of the capital Algiers.
The paper explained that the three soldiers who were not in a mission were riding their car between al-Qadereyah and Teizi Ghneive, 90 Km to the south east of the capital when they were stopped by armed men wearing military suits.
According to the press and eye-witnesses number of killing in acts of violence in Algeria since the beginning of this year increased to 135 persons.
