Indonesia foreign minister in Damascus with message to President al-Assad

Indonesia's foreign minister Alawi Shehab and his wife arrived in Damascus on Friday evening in a visit to Syria in a visit which will last for two days. He was welcomed by foreign minister al-Shara. His wife and high ranking foreign ministry officials.
In an arrival statement to SANA, Shehab said he is carrying a message to President Bashar al-Assad from President Abdul Rahman Abdul Wahid to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and an invitation to President al-Assad to visit Indonesia.
Shehab stressed his country's unwavering stand to back the Arab rights and called on israel to abide by international legitimacy resolution and to withdraw from all occupied Arab lands.
He stressed that there will be no relations between Israel and Indonesia before restoring back all occupied Arab lands.
He underlined the importance of his visit to Syria to promote and strengthen bilateral relations.
