Morocco's exports of fruits and early vegetables decline by 27%

Morocco's exports of fruits and early vegetables declined up to January 12 by 27% from 137,000 tons in the previous season to 100,000 tons. A report of the agriculture ministry says the decline was sharper in tomato exports which totaled 74,500 tons (-37%) while potato exports increased by 67% to reach 1,000 tons and other fruits and vegetables exports recorded a 27% increase with 25,000 tons.
The source adds that citrus fruits exports also went down from 238,000 tons to 127,000 tons.
