The Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz on Wednesday released a decision provides for appointing retired lt. Gen prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz as a deputy for the minister of defence and aviation for military affairs at the grade of a minister. This new appointment coincides with the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the war to liberate Kuwait, when prince Khaled was the commander of the joint forces and the theatre of military operations. Joint naval exercises started on Wednesday, as a third of its kind, between Israel, the US and Turkey, off the coasts of Israel. It will last for one day. Taking part in these exercises were two Turkish frigates, one American frigate and to Israeli warships carrying Saar missiles, as well as helicopters belong to the naval forces of the three countries. It was announced in Ankara on Wednesday that the Israeli foreign minister Shloumo Bin Ami will pay a short work visit to Turkey on Friday aiming at briefing the Turkish officials with the situation in the Middle east region and promotion for his government's stances to this effect. Go
