Syrian - Tunisian higher committee meets on January 21

The Syrian - Tunisian joint higher committee will meet in Tunisia on January 21- 23. It will be chaired by the two countries prime ministers.
The Syrian deputy minister of the economy and foreign trade Shibli Abu al-Fakher said that the preliminary delegation which he heads and includes representatives of most of the state's ministries and establishments will leave for Tunisia today.
The delegation will review issues which will be debated at the meetings of the higher committee and agreements that can be signed.
In a statement to SANA, the Syrian deputy minister of the economy noted that there are several agreements that will be signed. These include an investment protection agreement, an executive program on tourism co-operation, an executive program for tourism co-operation and other protocols on social, sport and youths issues.
