The number of tourists visiting Marrakesh last December increased by 30%, exceeding 70,140 tourists compared to 53,904 tourists in Dec.1999. According to the tourism ministry, some 29,687 French nationals chose the Red City for their Christmas holidays, followed by Moroccans (9,625). Go
