Muslim brothers back the 1000 Syrian intellectual statement

The Muslim brothers group in Syria on Monday expressed backing for all what was stated in the statement of the One Thousand Syrian Intellectuals as well as the earlier statement made by 55 Syrian intellectuals.

In a statement issued in London, the group said that " talking about the change in our country is still hesitant, shy and reluctant," noting the need to open all doors before the people to shoulder their responsibilities to an effective and positive contribution whose benefits will be for all."

The statement of the " Muslim brothers group" added that the Muslims Brothers in Syria has repeatedly announced its readiness to close the file of the past with all its wounds and to deal positively with the new rule, in the course of honoring public freedoms, canceling the emergency law and establishing the building of modern Syria, a state built on political pluralism, and reviving the establishments of the civil society.
