Advertising firm receipts in 2000 increase 47 percent

Receipts of the autonomous advertising service "SAP" recorded a 47 PC increase in 2000, as compares with 1999, with turnover standing at 19 million USD, "Liberation" daily reported Thursday.
The increase, says the daily, was due to the operation of a rival to Maroc-Telecom in mobile phones with both operators devoting 15 million USD to varied advertising space in 2000.
SAP profits peaked in Ramadan with a record turnover of 2.6 million USD, the daily went on to say, with telecommunications, detergents and foodstuffs as other major customers.
