Al-Assad confers with al-Hariri

President Bashar al-Assad yesterday received the Lebanese prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri. Talks dealt with current conditions in the region and the atmospheres resulted from the Israeli stances towards peace and Israel's aggressions against the Palestinian people.
Talks also dealt with issues of mutual concern. Later in the day, al- Hariri returned back to Beirut after a short visit to Damascus during which he met with President al-Assad.
