Referendum on the national charter project

The Bahraini daily al-Ayam said in its Wednesday's issue quoting well-informed sources that the referendum on the national charter project will be held on February under the supervision of legal figures, judges and other sides concerned.
The paper added that the referendum will be held over two articles of the national charter project which the higher national committee for the charter completed within one month.
The two articles are changing the name of the country from an Emirate into a Kingdom and using the two council systems in the legislative authority.
