Blair attacked by protestors over death of Iraqi children
Iraq-UK, Politics, 1/11/2001
The spokesman for the British policy said on Wednesday that the British prime minister Tony Blair was thrown by spoiled tomato and oranges by Arab demonstrators who were protesting against the imposed sanctions on Iraq.
The spokesman explained that this incident took place on Tuesday evening when Blair was inaugurating a school in the British city of Bristol.
The spokesman added that the demonstrators shouted in the face of Blair upon his arrival at the entrance of the school saying " How many Iraqi children have you killed so far?"
The security forces hurried to disperse the demonstrators gathered at the entrance of the schools.
