Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Monday received a telephone call from the chairman of the European Commission Romano Brudi, during which talks dealt with the general situation in the region and the question of peace in it. Talks also dealt with bilateral relations between Syria and the European Commission
China's vice President Ho Jianto arrives today in damascus in an official visit to Syria during which he will hold talks with high ranking Syrian officials dealing with international, and regional conditions and bilateral relations.
