Peres confers with Indian official
Israel-Palestine-India, Politics, 1/10/2001
Israel's minister of regional cooperation Shemon Peres has admitted the failure of negotiations with the Palestinian government. He added that these negotiations did not conclude any agreement, rather created what he called the ground to complete such an agreement in the future.
In a press statement on Monday evening in New Delhi after his meeting with the Indian foreign minister, Peres said that an agreement will not be attained without reaching a middle solution.
The Israeli radio indicated that Peres discussed with the Indian foreign minister the negotiations with the Palestinian Authority and bilateral relations between India and Israel.
