Means to upgrade Morocco - Pakistan economic ties studied
Morocco-Pakistan, Economics, 1/9/2001

Means to upgrade economic and commercial ties between Morocco and Pakistan were studied at a meeting in Rabat Monday between head of the Moroccan trade, industry and services chambers federation (FCCISM), Abdallah Zouhir, and Pakistan's ambassador to Morocco, Shujaat Ali Khan.

The two men underlined the need for Rabat and Islamabad to foster trade exchanges and benefit from their respective potentials.

Zouhir and Khan agreed to set up a permanent link between the Moroccan and Pakistan trade and industry chambers to foster the exchange of business missions and expertise between the two nations.

The two sides also talked about prospects to be opened by a visit Moroccan Premier, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, will pay to Pakistan in the course of 2001.
