Drug dealers arrested in northern Morocco

Authorities at the port of the Moroccan northern city of Tangiers arrested over the weekend two Moroccan immigrants and two foreigners with drugs in their possession.
A Moroccan expatriate in France was arrested with 80 kg of cannabis extract, locally known as chira, concealed in his Renault 19 car.
Another Moroccan settled in Spain was handcuffed with 30 kg of the same banned substance, hidden in his car.
The authorities also arrested a Palestinian-born Dutch national and a Frenchman, who were trying to smuggle out 30 and 25 kg of the drug respectively of the drug, concealed in their cars.
The dealers were handed to the judiciary police for investigation, pending their trial.
