Morocco to host 7th climatic change conference in october 2001

The Seventh Conference of the United Nations on climatic change will convene October 29-November 9, 2001 in Marrakesh, announced Monday city-planning, urbanism, housing and environment minister Mohamed El Yazghi.
The event to be staged on behalf of the continent shows that Africa is keen on working with other sides for solutions to world environment problems, the minister said in his opening address Monday of the first African conference on prevention and environment-friendly management of hazardous waste stocks, gathered in Rabat throughout Friday.
