Junblat and Damascus
Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 1/9/2001

Lebanese minister of the displaced Marwan Hammadeh has stated that the road between Damascus and al-Mukhtara ( Walid Junblat town) has not been cut yet. In a statement to the " Saturday Saloon" program broadcast by Sawt Lebanon and issued by the Lebanese daily al-Nahar on Monday, Hammadeh added that efforts continue and the atmosphere is negative. He expected that time will not be so long for the return of Walid Junblat to his office in Damascus.
