Qabous meets with Arafat

Sultan Qabous Bin Saeed of Oman on Saturday in Muscat met with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat who was visiting Oman.
The Gulf News Agency said that Arafat briefed Sultan Qabous with the current conditions in the Palestinian territories and the American efforts to resume negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
