Arab Fund for development finances projects between Yemen and Oman

An official at the ministry of planning and development said that the chairman of the board and director general of the Arab Fund for economic and social development Abdul Latif al-Hamad will start an official visit to Sanaa to sign a loan agreement at a cost of 26 million Kuwaiti Dinars that will be dedicated to carry out a road project linking Yemen to Oman.
During his visit al-Hamad will be invested with a medal from the Yemeni leadership in appreciation of the Fund's contributions to backing development in Yemen.
Yemeni statistics reveal that the Fund provided Yemen with 60 loans at a coast of 223.8 million Kuwaiti dinars, allotted to contribute to financing projects on agriculture, electricity, waters, drainage, roads ports and health.
