Works of the 17th conference of the federation of Arab physicians in Europe was opened on Tuesday in Dubai. It is hosted by the UAE medical society with the participation of doctors of Arab and European origins representing 15 European states and discussed during their two deliberations some 70 scientific and medical studies in most of modern medicine branches.
The conference aims at exchanging expertise and scientific and medical information and to review health issues the Arab states suffer from as well as to follow up latest scientific developments in the area of diagnosing.
The chairman of the federation Dr. Hassan al-Najjar has expressed his pride over convening this conference for the first time in one of the Arab states, noting that there are 2000 Arab doctors who work in the European states with half of them in Germany and the other half distributed in the European states especially in Britain, France, Italy and Spain.
In a statement to pressmen al-Najjar said that the conference is considered a positive step to organize and convene more sessions for the Arab physicians federation in Europe in the Arab states so as to maintain contacts between Arab expatriate doctors and their counterparts in the Arab states and to introduce advanced expertise in medicine sciences.
