An independent bloc inside the Syrian PA

The Jordanian weekly al-Hilal said in its Tuesday's issue that 21 members of the People's Assembly (PA) in Syria had announced the formation of an independent bloc inside the PA, and that this was the first transformation of its kind in Syria since the foundation of the Syrian PA in 1970.

The paper said that one member of the bloc Muhammad Nasser had recently presented before the PA a political intervention in the name of the bloc, which had also sent a message to President Bashar al-Assad notifying him on the formation of the bloc and calls for meeting with him ( the President).

The Jordanian weekly issued the main names of this bloc. It includes Basil Dahdouh from Damascus, Mohsin Ali Nasser from Lattakia, Mahdi Kheir Beck from Lattakia, Youssef Abu Romeyah from Daraa, Abdul Qader al-Zayat from Aleppo and Abdul Aziz al-Mulhim from Homs.
