King Mohammed probes means to speed up growth and investment with premier Youssoufi

Morocco's King Mohammed VI conferred in Rabat Thursday at the royal cabinet with premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi on a wide range of matters focusing on means to enhance economic growth and investment.

The sovereign voiced satisfaction at the successful opening up of Maroc-Telecom capital which confirms Moroccan economy's potential and the trust of the world business community in the kingdom.

Government action should now ride these positive dynamics making optimum use of funds raised by this operation and of privatization and deregulation policy as a whole, he said asking Youssoufi to now give precedence to the setting up of back-up mechanisms to accompany investors and whose modalities have already been wrapped up such as the single-counter.

The king invited the head of government to mobilize cabinet members for direct contact with economic operators within a pragmatic approach keeping in mind that results are expected from all.

On this occasion, King Mohammed VI renewed his whole trust and total support to the prime minister assuring him of more backing.
