Morocco Studies Spain's Answer on Borders Delimitation

Morocco is currently studying the Spanish government answer regarding the delimitation of the Canary Islands sea borders, well-informed sources said.
The response, conveyed Wednesday to the foreign affairs and cooperation department, comes after a verbal note sent last week by Morocco to Spain.
Spain had fixed the sea borders of the Canary islands without consulting Morocco.
Spain applied the rule of equi-distance which is contrary to the international law. The delimitation has, thus, no legal foundation.
The Spanish embassy in Rabat had denied the information circulated on the delimitation of the sea borders of the Canary Islands.
