Jordan hosts the next Arab summit

It was announced in Amman on Thursday that Jordan has proposed the convening of the 13th ordinary Arab summit due to be held in Amman in the last week of next March.

Jordanian sources said that the Jordanian permanent mission a the Arab League (AL) has extended a memorandum to the AL general secretariat to this effect.

However, the recent Arab summit which was held recently in Cairo had decided Jordan to host the forthcoming Arab summit to be held in March.

On the other hand, well informed Jordanian sources said that more than 35 Israeli employees who used to work at israel's embassy in Amman had left the Jordanian territories via Queen Alya international airport.

The sources added that the departure of those Israeli from Jordan came after a diplomat at the israeli embassy Shlomou Azatchi was exposed to an assassination attempt in one of Amman's quarters after which he left for Israel to receive medical treatment there.
