UAE's increased investments volume in the Arab states

The volume of the United Arab Emirates UAE in the Arab states reached almost 6.2 billion Dirham during the period from 1985 until the end of 1999 while Arab investments coming to the UAE during the same period of time reached 3.2 billion Dirham, representing 50% of the UAE's investment.
Statistics issued by the general establishment of the UAE's investment guarantees unveiled decrease in the Arab investment coming into the UAE during 1999 which reached in that year US $ 176 million against US $ 380 million in 1998.
