Some 60 persons killed in Algeria within 2 days

The Algerian dailies issued on Tuesday said that a 8 member family were slaughtered on Sunday at the hands of an armed group near Khamis Melyana, 120 Km to the West of the capital Algiers.
The papers added that the mother ( who is pregnant), the father and their 6 children were killed by knives by the gunmen in a small village in Wadi Shleif, few Kms to the south of Khamis Melyana.
The dailies added that the group which committed this new crime is expected to be the same one that killed five persons by bullets just one hour earlier in Khamis Melyana city.
Therefore, number of victims killed on Saturday and Sunday tolled 60 in Algeria.
