Algeria confirms that 16 students were killed

The Algerian security forces has officially confirmed that 16 students were killed and other 6 wounded in an attack carried out by a terrorist group on Saturday evening against a vocational school at al-Medya city, 80 Km to the South of the Capital Algiers.
Citizens of the city have reported that an armed group on Saturday evening killed at least 16 students and their teacher at Mahmoud Bashin schools.
A statement by the Algerian security forces said that the minister of the Interior Yazin Zarhouni and the national education minister Bubaker Bin Bu Zeid and the director of the police Ali Tunisi inspected the place where the massacre took place.
