Mubara to address People's Assembly on deepening democracy

Egypt's President Mubarak tomorrow delivers a major political speech before the joint session of the People's Assembly and the Shura Council. In his speech the President will put forward the national action program and the assignments of the new parliament.

Mubarak will speak about the importance of deepening democratic practices and commitment to democratic dialogue among various political parties.

The President will call on members of the People's Assembly and Shura Council to give priority to public interests of the homeland.

He will pay his tribute to the judiciary who supervised the latest People's Assembly's elections and policemen who were neutral during elections.

In his historical speech, the President will tackle the developments of the peace issue and Egypt's relations with world countries.

The People's Assembly's general committee will meet after the President delivers his speech for considering it and referring it to the specialized committee.
