Moroccan teen sneezes 200 times a day
Morocco, Local, 12/16/2000
A 13 year-old boy living in the Oujda suburbs, northeastern Morocco, sneezed 1,100 times in six days, an average of 200 times a day, shattering a quite unusual world record.
The weekly "Gazettte Du Maroc" reports that local MDs failed to diagnose the disease and were unable to prescribe drugs.
The sneezing only stopped when the boy went to sleep and heavy doses of sleeping medicine were necessary to make him drowse.
