French HBS Technologie Group opens unit in Casablanca

The French automobile and aeronautics Group HBS Technologie opened Wednesday a production unit in Casablanca.
The Casablanca branch is the group's second representation in Africa after the one it opened in Tunisia in 1998.
HBS Technologie is specialized in the protection and fixation of electric and electronic beams used in all types of mobile engines.
The Casablanca branch will produce beams needed in the Moroccan market.
Set up in 1990, HBS Technologie posted a turnover of 469,656,320 French Francs in 1999.
Beams production in Morocco have been witnessing a strong annual growth of 35 % over the past few years. Most of the output is exported.
