Conditions in Iraq and cooperation with Iran before the Gulf summit

The secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation council GCC Jamil al-Hujeilan said that the Gulf summit which will be held on December 30 in al-Manama will discuss strengthening the march of the GCC, unifying the currency and expanding the volume of economic cooperation.

The secretary general stressed that the leaders of the Gulf states will discuss the question of Iraq and the Middle East, and relations of the GCC member states with Iran.

Al-Hujeilan stressed that the GCC member states are committed to the resolutions of the Arab and Islamic summits. He stressed that the Palestinian uprising should not be foiled, rather to be provided by all backing means. he continued that the GCC member states have chosen peace as a strategic option but in the context of the international legitimacy.
