Israeli forces bombard Beit Jala, Jenin, Rafah and 16 Palestinian towns

Clashes continued on Tuesday in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Palestinian youth attacked Israeli positions and on foot forces in various areas in the West bank and Gaza, while the Israeli occupation forces escalated its attacks against the Palestinian cities. It rocketed Beit Jala, Bethlehem and al-Arra and al-Dheisha camps as well as the towns of al-Khudr, Qalqelya, Rafah, Khan Younis and tightened siege measures against al-Khalil and Toulkarem.

The Palestinian youths attacked the israeli soldiers in al-Khalil and at the crossing of Beit Sahour in Nablus. They detonated explosives near Keryat Arbaa settlement.

The Palestinian Youssef Ahmad Abu Sawa was killed by the Israeli bullets in confrontations in Bethlehem while other Palestinians were wounded when the Israeli forces opened their fire intensively against the Palestinian houses.

Israel's bombardment of Beit Jala came after a short time from the International fact finding commission's visit to the town.

The Israeli settlers opened fire against al-Khalil citizens under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces and attacked the cars of the Palestinians.

Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces started to construct new roads for the settlers that will cut thousands of fruit trees because this road will link "houmesh" settlement to the north of Nablus with " Annab" settlement for 10 kilometers.

The citizens of Sanjal village in Ramullah said that the Israeli forces uprooted 100 pistachio and olive trees under the pretext that from these trees the israeli on foot patrols are exposed to Palestinian attacks.

The Israeli authorities arrested several Palestinians from Kafer al-Hares village to the east of Jerusalem and from al-Arqoub camp near al-Khalil under charges of attacking Israeli patrols.

Meantime, the israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz has admitted the escalation of the uprising. he said that the Palestinians have started to use explosives similar to those used to be used by the Lebanese national resistance.
