Trial of AMDH members for participation in unauthorized demonstration postponed

The Rabat first-instance court decided Monday to postpone to next February 28 the trial of members of the Moroccan Human Rights Association (AMDH) for participation in an unauthorized demonstration, gathering in open public space and offense against public order. Some 36 AMDH members appeared Monday before the court after arrest on Saturday.
Other people arrested Sunday in similar demonstrations in Rabat were released awaiting trial on Tuesday.
