Al-Assad confers with Arab foreign ministers of follow up committee

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Monday at al-Shaab palace of Damascus received members of the emergency Arab Cairo's Summit's follow up committee.
The Syrian President was acquainted by members of the committee on the result and contents of the current meeting held in Damascus.
Al-Assad said that the follow up committee and its tasks are an expression of the Arab solidarity with the " brotherly " Palestinian people and of the Arab support for those people in their struggle in defiance of the continued Israeli aggressions.
Talks dealt with recent developments in the Arab region, the joint Arab action under the current critical circumstances and bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
Meanwhile the president, in a separate meeting, received the Tunisian foreign affairs minister Bin Yahya.
The meeting was attended by foreign minister al-Shara and the Tunisian ambassador in Damascus. The Tunisian minister handed over a message to the President sent by his Tunisian counterpart Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali.
Talks dealt with the recent developments in the region, the joint Arab action under the grave circumstances the region is passing through and relations between Syria and Tunisia.
